Preserving and honoring tribal history is an important part of our community and our museum. Our collection serves to acknowledge the tremendous cultural influence local tribes continue to have in shaping the Yellowstone Valley. Our Indian Nations are represented through a dazzling display of authentic tribal bead work featuring designs from the Sioux, Blackfoot, Tsitsistas (Northern Cheyenne), and Apsaalooke (Crow) tribes, and many beautiful examples of traditional regalia dating back to the 19th century from tribes across the nation.
